TUC Rail has chosen the Mitel solution, implemented by Inia for its high level of integration with the Microsoft OCS 2007 R2 environment, in its brand new headquarters in Brussels. The OCS 2007 R2 platform was added to the communication environment to provide the employees with not only features such as Instant Messaging and Presence Information, but also collaboration tools such as Desktop Sharing, Live Meeting and even Audio and Video Conferencing.

Improved productivity

Thanks to the intuitive interface of the OCS 2007 R2 solution, combined with the rock solid Mitel IP telephony platform users can be reached either on their desk phone, their mobile phone or on their Communicator Client. Thanks to the Presence information the number of unsuccessful calls to colleagues has been reduced to an absolute minimum. Also Audio Conferences and Collaboration tools are used more frequently thanks to the ease of use. This all results in an improved productivity.

The Mitel Mobile Extension ensures that the mobile phone rings simultaneously with the company phone so that the user is always available on the same number.
